How to find your Router's Default IP Address - In Every Devices

Way 1: Find the sticker on the router

All types of routers I have seen have default information on the back of all routers. Look at the picture below, there will be exactly the same type of lamp, or it may be different. But this is sure that the information of each router is given behind the router.


Did you find the sticker on your router? Then congratulation you will see their Default IP and all information like username and password is given. If you can't find that important sticker on your router, follow the steps below. The following steps have the highest chance of getting stuck in the Admin Panel interface of the router.


Way 2: Find the router's ip from your OS

Windows:

1. Click The Windows Start button.
2. Click on the search box and type cmd.
3. Then type ipconfig to find the default gateway of your router.

Mac OS:

1. First Click The apple menu at the top screen.
2. Then Choose System Preferences and click on the Network symbol.
3. Then choose the relevant network connection and click on Advanced the button.
4. Now you need to click on the tab TCP/IP there you will see (on the right) the IP address of the router.

Or:

1. First you need to pen the Launchpad.
2. Then type terminal in the search bar. Then a terminal window will open.
3. Then in the new window type netstat -nr | grep default and press enter key.
4. Then finally you will see the router IP next to the text default.



Android:

1. Open the Wi-Fi section from your mobile.
2. Then click on the SSID of your network.

Then you will get all kinds of information about the router. Such as the IP of any series, frequency band, connection speed, signal strength, and technical standards, and many more.





Or:

1. First you need to Install any WiFi Analyzer from the Play Store.
2. Then click on wifi info or AP List.
3. Then search for the string connected to your {Network Name}.
4. If you found it then click on the string. Then you can see a new window will be open and here is the all information. See the picture below, hope you understand.





Linux:

1. First you'll find a network symbol in the notification area of your Linux Os.
2. Then click on the network symbol and choose Connection Information.
3. Then you should see an ip address next to the strong Default route or Gatway.




Or:

1. First you need to open terminal.
2. when the terminal window will be open then type ip route | grep default or ifconfig.

Chrome OS:

1. First in the taskbar you'll find the notification area (right side).
2. There you should see something connected to [Network Name].
3. Then click it and the list will show up and search for the tab called Network

iPhone iOS:

1. First you need to open Setting the option.
2. Then click on WiFi and tap on your current connected network.
3. Find the DHCP Section. Then you will see the IP Address of your Router.
