How to Configure Template For ONU In BDCOM OLT

Hello, friends today I will talk to you about a completely different topic. Today we will learn how to create an External Template for ONU in BDCOM OLT. We know that each ONU runs in a rule or assume that each ONU runs in a configuration. The function of this template is to make automatic configurations when an ONU is connected to any port of the OLT. Due to the use of this template, there is no need to configure it manually externally on any ONU. So let's see how to configure Template.

ONU Template Configuration:

First Access or login to OLT. Follow the below commands to create ONU Configuration Template.

Command:

Username: admin

Password:

UN-2nd-OLT>

UN-2nd-OLT>ena

UN-2nd-OLT#config

UN-2nd-OLT_config#epon onu-config-template vlan104

UN-2nd-OLT_config#cmd-sequence 001 epon onu port 1 ctc vlan mode tag 104

UN-2nd-OLT_config#cmd-sequence 002 epon onu port 1 loopback detect

UN-2nd-OLT_config#cmd-sequence 003 epon onu port 1 ctc notify loopback

UN-2nd-OLT_config#interface epon 0/2

UN-2nd-OLT_config_epon0/1#epon pre-config-template vlan104 binded-onu-llid 1-64

For our ease of understanding, here we name the template VLAN104. It has 3 configurations inside. The first is that the ONU will run under which VLAN. The second command is to detect any loopback from the ONU's LAN port. The third command is to notify the OLT of any loopback from the ONU's LAN port. Then if you give the last command to any EPON port, that port will go under that template.

Conclusion:

If you use the above commands correctly, you can easily configure the ONU template. Hope everyone understands. If anyone doesn't understand then comment. I will try to support everyone.
