Hello friends we all use Youtube, Play store, and Drive, But most of us do not know how these Google services work. These services run from the ISP's cache servers. Google provides cache servers to our ISPs.For this, we can use YouTube videos and download Apps from the Play store very fast.
How Works Youtube Cache?:-
The cache server operates on the LAN side of each network. When a user of an ISP watches an uncommon video from YouTube (that video is new to YouTube) if it is not in the Cache server, then it will not be loaded at a fast speed. Because that video is only new on YouTube, it will load on international traffic requests as it is not on the cache server, At the same time the video is loaded on the cache server. If this video was on the cache server then the video would have loaded very fast.
What is GGC:-
Hey guys what do you know? The full meaning of GGC is Google Global Cache. In short, it acts as a storage. It is provided by Google. This server is provided by Google only to large ISPs or IIGs.It is a server that is on the LAN side of a network. We belong to our ISP's LAN network. For this reason, when we use something common from Google, it is loaded from that Cache server at a very fast speed.
Is GGC a CDN?:-
The most important thing is GGC is a hierarchical CDN. you know CDN means Content delivery network. That means the CDN is where the content is delivered. So we can call the GGC Cache server otherwise as CDN server.CDNs aren't just Google's. Many ISP companies have LAN cache CDN in their network to provide faster service.
