Trunk Port Configuration On Huawei Switch

Hello, friends today we will learn a very simple topic. We all know how to trunk ports on Cisco and BDCOM switches. But today we will learn how to trunk port of Huawei switch. Also, there is how to add all VLANs to the port by trunking the port. Without further ado let's get to the configuration.



Step By Step Configuration:-

Follow the command below to configure the Huawei Switch port.


Step 1 Goto config mode:

<HUAWEI-SW>system-view

Step 2 Select Interface:

[HUAWEI-SW] interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/10

Step 3 Set Type of Port:

[HUAWEI-SW-interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/10]port link-type trunk

Step 4 Allow all VLANs:

[HUAWEI-SW-interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/10]port trunk allow-pass VLAN all

Or allow Specific VLANs:

[HUAWEI-SW-interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/10]port trunk allow-pass VLAN 200

Step 5 For Exit:

[HUAWEI-SW-interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/10]quit
