What is wireless MAC Filtering TP-Link?

Wireless mac filtering is a feature using which you can specify which devices can be connected through Wireless and which devices cannot be connected. This is the function of this feature. So enabling this feature increases router security. After enabling it, the devices you want will be connected to your router, and the devices you don't want will be doesn't connect to your router.

*TP-Link Default IP: 192.168.0.1
*TP-Link Default Username:  admin
*TP-Link Default Password:  admin


Configuration:

So the configuration of Mac Filtering step by step is given below. I did it with a PC, you can do it with your mobile too. So let's get started.


Step 1:

You Just need to Log in to your wi-fi Router Page Panel. To log in to the router, you need to open any browser on your PC or mobile. Then enter the default IP address of the router.



Step 2:

After logging in to the router, then go to the wireless tool. Then go to Wireless Mac Filtering. Then Click Add New to add your all device's MAC addresses of that device will be connected to your Wi-fi Router.


Then you need to set the MAC address of each device in this way, and then click save.




Step 3:

In this way, each MAC address will be set correctly. Wi-Fi will not connect!! If any device's MAC address is wrong. so be careful to set your Mac address. Once all the MAC addresses have been added, then click on Allow Option.



Step 4:

This is the Final Step! Finally, you need to Enable Mac Filtering.
