How to Remove Onu In BDCOM OLT

How to Remove ONU:

Hello, friends today we will learn an important topic. The thing is How to Remove Onu In BDCOM OLT. We know that about 64 ONUs can run on one port in BDCOM EPON OLT but 128 ONUs can run from one port of GPON OLT. Many times it is seen that our unused ONU data remains in the OLT. Today I will show how to delete unused ONU. Below is the command to delete ONU. This command will support EPON and GPON of BDCOM. So without further ado let's learn how to delete ONU.

Step 1:

In the first step, you need to log in to the OLT through Telnet. Login with username and password. Then enable to go to configuration mode. Shown in the image below.

Username: admin

Password: *****

Didar-OLT>

Didar-OLT>enable

Didar-OLT#

Step 2:

Then enter the port from which you want to delete the ONU. For example, I will delete an unused ONU from EPON port 3. Follow the command below.

Didar-OLT#config

Didar-OLT_config#interface epON 0/3

Didar-OLT_config_epON0/3#no epon bind-onu sequence 10

Didar-OLT_config_epON0/3#exit

Didar-OLT_config#

Conclusion:

Here sequence 10 means ONU number 10 of port number 3 is understood. Don't forget to save the configuration at the end. If the configuration is not saved, the device will go back to the previous configuration after a reboot. So don't forget to save after any configuration. Below is the configuration saving command.

Didar-OLT_config# write all
