BDCOM OLT And Switch NTP Client Configuration

NTP Client:

Today we will learn how to configure NTP Client on BDCOM OLT or Switch. The full meaning of NTP is Network Time Protocol. A device's time is set through NTP. This Protocol is synchronized with computer clock time sources in a network. So I think you understand what is NTP.



Configuration:

NTP Configuration step by step is given below. You should do the same configuration as I did. so let's start.


Step 1:

First, you need to log in to your BDCOM OLT or Switch. Then go enable mode.

OLT>enable
OLT#

Step 2:

In this step, you need to go into configuration mode.

OLT#config
OLT_config#

Step 3:

Now we are set up the time zone.

OLT_config#time-zone Asia/Dhaka 6 0

Step 4:

This step is the final step. Now set the NTP Server IP Address.
OLT_config#ntp server 103.15.140.4.
