The model of this router is D-Link DIR-841 AC1200. This router has about four non-detachable antennas. All gain 5dBi. There is also a POWER button to power on / power off, a WIFI button to enable/disable wireless network, a WPS button to set up a wireless connection, And there is a RESET button to restore the whole router with factory default settings. Configuration
This router can be configured in many ways. The configuration needs to be completed the same way the ISP will provide internet through the connection type. Today I will show you how to set up a PPPOE connection on this router. You have to follow some steps for that.
1st Step
To set up the router you need to go to the router's LAN address. D-Link Router's default IP address is 192.168.0.1
2nd Step
After going to the LAN IP address, the router's page panel will open. You need to click on Start. Then you have to select the language.
3rd Step
This step is very important. If you want, you can do advanced configuration or continue.
4rth Step
This is the device mode. You need to select the connection mode. If your connection is wired, you need to choose Wired Connection and Router mode. Click on Next to go to the next step.
5th Step
In this step, you need to select the Internet connection type. If your ISP is static, then you have to assign static. Then enter the username and password and click on Next. This step is very important. Here you have to select the connection type through which ISP has provided internet. Otherwise, your internet connection setup will not be completed.
6th Step
In this step, you need to configure the wireless of the router. This router is in dual mode, so it has 2.4GHz and 5GHz. If you want you can disable 2.4GHz/5GHz SSID.
7th Step
Here you need to change the web-based interface password. That means you need to change the router's administration password.
8th Step
This is the last step. Here you need to review your whole configuration. If your configuration is correct, then your router setup will be completed.
